On Board the RV Heraclitus
Priska, on board the RV Heraclitus
At the age of 12, Priska Komaromi,
joined the RV Heraclitus expedition in Oakland California and
voyaged with the ship to French Polynesia. Priska is the daughter of
Klaus Eiberle, the RVH Captain, and Reka Komaromi, who has served
as the Cultural Exchange Program Coordinator on board the ship. Priska
was born in Germany and started traveling at the age of four months. She
took her first voyage on the Heraclitus at age three and has joined
the crew for several voyages since that time. While on board, she
was home-schooled, she learned to dive, sail the ship and study coral reefs.
